Batle Studio Graphite Writing Objects

Batle Studio Graphite Writing Objects

Artist Agelio Batle combines carbonaceous graphite (that is, the mineral remains of prehistoric plant life) with smudge-resistant compounds, puts the material under intense pressure, and molds it into various natural objects – such as shells, feathers and leaves – to form these gaphite writing objects. All surfaces can be used for writing, and like the fossilized components that compose them, each object can stand the test of time, lasting up to 9 years of daily use.
